Unable to view future itineraries. Makes the app useless.
My company forces us to use this app and it costs us more money than just booking directly with the hotels. The app is horrible and it’s incredibly inconvenient to have a third party booking through another third party when you need to change your reservation.
The application is simple and fast.
As easy to use as the website.
I find I can book directly through the hotels and airlines without the Egencia fee and often get cheaper rates, I rarely use this but our company prefers we do.
Project info should populate from flight to hotel to car.

As mentioned in the title the Single Sign On functionality is difficult to use and takes too many steps to log in. The app times out too quickly and should try to remember your work email so you don’t have to manually type it in every time you want to log in.
The amount of time I wast in this site is ridiculous. So much easier to book direct with the airlines or hotel. Egencia rarely shows all the options and when they do, they’re not eligible for points. Or you have to call them to book because the itinerary isn’t available online then they charge a $10.00 phone fee. If you have even minimal skills at booking travel, you’ll do way better than Egencia can. Stay away unless you’re a complete novice at booking travel.
The one thing I want to do automatically when I book a trip is add the details to my iPhone calendar. If that can be done with this app, it certainly isn’t self explanatory. I have wasted several minutes trying to find it.
I just spent over three hours trying to apply a credit on a new reservation. It took me three customer service representatives and I never was able to get the credit applied to my flight correctly. I eventually just had to cancel all of it and rebook the original flight, which by the way was less than what it would’ve been had one of the representatives credited the credit to a flight that they picked randomly very disappointed in this process not in the Customer Service handling as much as the actual process they seemed more confused than me

How come the app is not letting me book a flight . It freezes up at finalizing prices .
Rates are higher on Egencia than booking directly with the hotel AND there are NO points awarded to the traveler. Zero gains for using Egencia!
The app is relatively easy to use but has one major flaw. It cannot be used on an iPad with integrated keyboard as it does not rotate to landscape. Such an easy feature to have yet this lacks it. It could be a 4 star otherwise.
The most frustrating part of Egencia is the reduced options provided compared to actual hotel and airline apps.
Service is slow and cumbersome. It is so much easier to go directly to the airline or hotel site
If a gigantic multinational corporation like the one I work for is going to force their employees to use your platform can you at least try to fix your useless app? It looks like you’ve done at least a dozen updates since this became just a viewing portal for frozen non responsive listing of search results that you would book, if you could. But once again, you get the laptop out while wondering aloud how anyone could be this bad at anything and still be entitled to anyone’s business much less our 9 figure corporate travel booking spend. I am begging you to please get it together so I can manage my work travel like an adult who lives in 2024 and not a frontiersman looking for an in-policy Conestoga wagon.
For those of us that use a larger iPad, this app is unusable. I have mine attached to the Magic Keyboard case, so it’s locked in landscape mode. An app, like this one, that only works in portrait mode is useless. Please update to work in landscape. Don’t be so shortsighted as to think everyone just does it all on their phone. Some of us want more screen real estate to work with.
Frequently have to call customer support for issues like credit card denials and app giving error messages. Unable to get through. Emails go unanswered and the chatbot has the IQ of a wet rag.

This app does a great job, but I mostly travel to the same places several times a year. It would be nice to have those listed in my profile for easier access. Thank you.
The search functions are two steps, as you can’t filter or set up your search initially, you have to do it after the full search loads…which also means the search results take forever. Also, hotel details aren’t usually accurate or helpful. And why do I continually find cheaper hotel and airfare rates outside of Egencia?

I’ve been trying to contact Egencia to change some information and modify my reservation. After approximately 6 hours, and several attempts, the individual refused to modify a reservation for a different day, I asked to speak with someone else and he refused.
My company has forced us to use this crappy website to save money. It is actually costing more to use this site compared to individually booking my travel myself. No customer service line 24/7 when flights get cancelled after hours and you need to update. The automated agent is useless. Searching for hotels or cars, the date you try to schedule the reservation for reverts back to the day you are actually making the reservation and not the actual date you need the reservation. This has caused huge issues for work travel. Do better!!!

Prices are sometimes double the price that one can get by booking direct or via another site. The app is not well designed. The process to get fares corrected is incredibly onerous. The service generally offloads all responsibility and effort required to ensure that rates make sense to your team. If they fail to do so, you’ll be eating the cost every time.
Non intuitive menu system. I.e when you want to check a date range you have to use the wrong one then change it to check in and check out. Even the date very non intuitive
Egencia is so easy to use and I have never had any issues in them remembering me and my info. Easy platform to navigate and they stick to what you are booking and don’t try to up sale you during the process. As a business traveler simplicity is what you want. So glad my company requires we use them to book our trips.
My trip into Ohio was horrible, I was transferred to 3 different flights and assaulted by TSA and founder get anyone to help me. I called for theee days and nothing. My flights home are now delayed 4 hours, I missed my connection flight and have no way to get home. I will be in Dallas with no place to stay the night and I am trying to get a flight for morning . Still not booked. The most ridiculous service. Called multiple times to continually be told nothing they can do
For an international company in which I need to book things worldwide and from various countries, egencia requires multiple profiles which is complicated and not convenient. If egencia is worldwide, why does their customer service tell you to call egencia UK? When logging in to this app, I can’t even get in because it needs me to choose what profile I want to use it then won’t process the login (besides barely even seeing the info displayed because that data window is crammed into a very small box).
Airfare and hotel booking in the app do not work after recent updates . App hangs after search button is clicked . Defeats the purpose of having an app for travel booking ! Customer service has no idea and pointless reaching out .
Truly appreciate how user-friendly this app is. Having all of my information, both individually and organizationally makes this whole process of breeze.
You can find better prices outside this app. The hotel messages with special requests entered during booking aren’t shared with hotel staff

If your app only works in portrait mode on an iPad it is not an iPad app.
Since I work for an airline, I would hope that when I fly into a different city, you would book me a car at the airport, normal car rental, and not send me to some other strange location. This is happened twice now at Houston get it together.
Prices for me are almost always higher on rental cars and airlines than through direct bookings. Convenient? Not really, and you book as Expedia so you get treated like the help on check in. My corporation pushes this Egencia thing but I am and remain a strong critic and I do not follow their guidance for its usage.
Already hated this app - but it used to work. Appears the latest update broke something. Things aren’t updating anymore.
Just spins on Home Screen. Can’t navigate off of hotel booking under Book menu option. Major breakage.
Just the worst mobile travel agency app. Don’t bother ever booking anything in the app. The app freezes if you use it to try and book anything. Egencia in general doesn’t allow for any changes through web services, requiring you to call because their systems are so poor. Flights available through an airline populate as ‘No options’ but then are suddenly there when you call.
I am forced to use this app by my company or pay for hotels with my card. The app is ok but doesn’t always get the best price for the rooms. There is no way I have found to leave a review on hotels good or bad and the more you book a hotel it will become preferred weather or not it is a good hotel or just cheap. I am forced to book under a certain price per night (company mandate) and most of the time there are no rooms under this price requiring company approval.
This app is pathetic. With the most recent update I now can no longer get in. Prior to this it just spoiled endlessly trying to find a hotel. FAIL. ILL HAVE TO have my laptop with me at all times I guess
